The Manhattan Jazz bag pays tribute to New York’s rich jazz scene, to the velvet and dimly lit bars of Manhattan, where trumpets echo behind closed doors and every note tells a story.
Born from a longing to rise above racial injustice, jazz emerged in New Orleans, blending African rhythms, blues, and European harmonies into a sound of resilience and joy. As it traveled north during the Great Migration, it found its home in Manhattan, where Harlem’s energy and diversity transformed it into something bold and alive.
Made from upcycled vinyl records and deep burgundy leather, the bag reflects the improvisational spirit of the genre: expressive, timeless, and ever-evolving. The burgundy arc on the vinyl label nods to the red curtains of jazz clubs, where musicians step into the light and create moments that linger long after the last note fades.
Produced in limited pieces, each bag is individually crafted in our atelier, a timeless ode to craftsmanship and sound.
